Been busy this month so couldn’t make anything new but here’s one of my interesting works.
Well, today’s post is a pick from past I was 8, when I came about the idea of recycling neck ties to create a sling bag😍👜.
This idea evolved when I first saw a dozen of ties at my grandpa’s closet it was very neatly arranged.
As a child unaware about a tie, looking at these long strips of fabric with different designs, patterns, colors. And then grandpa told every necktie has a story behind it. Every necktie had a beautiful memory of school, graduation, office.
Thats when I thought its time to recycle these neckties to something creative which will treasure the beautiful memories forever.
Then I came up with an idea of hand sewing ties together and then converting it to a stylish an unique bag.
Thats how I made this bag though its been more than 10 years since I made this bag. It is still very close to my heart coz its my first handmade bag.
I have always got good compliments wherever I take it. Yet it is a fabulous fashion accessory and a great surprise gift for a friend.
